Walk Hard, the Dewey Cox Story I went to this movie with rather low expectations, and[More:] I had a great time! There are enough comic "beats," and they are so good and unexpected, that the movie moves along nicely.

And Reilly is good. The songs are barely this side of serious, and *almost* hold up on their own as songs. The Dylanesque ones are hilarious.

The more steeped in music one is, the better this works. Some fairly obscure allusions, along with some obvious ones.

But I can't think of anyone here who would not be at least mildly diverted.

I post this while hoping the kellydammit's house makes it through the night
I'd like to see it. I've heard positive and negative reviews, but would like to judge for myself. I enjoy music history, anyhow, so I figure there'll be something to laugh at.

I'll see anything with John C. Reilly innit.
