A little "humbug" spirit from the Drive-By Truckers... go to their MySpace page and listen to the song "Mrs. Claus' Kimono." (lyrics mildly NSFW) It's dirty, a little dark, and hilarious.

W00t, I say! W00t!

The new album, entitled "Brighter Than Creation's Dark", will feature the original Jason Isbell-free line-up -- John Neff (Japancakes), one of the original band members, is back playing pedal steel and guitar. The new record will, for the first time, feature some Shonna Tucker compositions and vocals.

I love me some Jason Isbell, but they're a better band with Neff, IMHO. He played with Hood and Cooley in Adam's House Cat, and he's a talented multi-instrumentalist.

I'm going to see Isbell Dec 28! Yay!
