IRC for complete friggin' eejits. I've read the threads. I've seen the advice. I've only used the Java server to connect to #bunnies before. Now, of course, it won't work. I have GAIM--can I get in through that, and if so, how? If not, step-by-step blunt-scissors instructions most appreciated. Thanks.

Do you have Firefox and Chatzilla? If so, try pasting * irc://moo.slashnet.org/bunnies * into the address bar.

Works for some, not for others.

Two more points:

1) Google search for "slashnet help," Metachat thread comes up #1.
2) Slashnet #help only works when people answer you, and right now they aren't. Grrr.

I'm the eedjit pup was trying to help. Por favor - paste the irc/whatever choices into which address bar? The chatzilla one at the top? The bottom? A non-chatzilla address bar? I think I tried them all. I plan to print out all pupsz emails and figure it the heck out soon.
