Amerie "Gotta Work"→[More:]I don't know how I missed this this year (oh yeah, I don't listen to the radio or live in the UK), but holy cow this song is amazing. Sorry if this is old news 'round these parts.
I'm not really into R&B, but Amerie is pretty cool. Not sure what the UK's got to do with it, though - is she not big in the States? She's not massive over here but does get in the charts.
It could be that I just thought she was from the UK. Maybe not. I just tend to blame everything I don't know on the British. It tends to make life easier.
Wikipedia says she was born in the States. You blame everything you don't know on us? But how do you know what you don't know? Weird - I do that with you lot - there's more of you to go around.
