I now know what the most annoying sound in the world is.→[More:]It's Rosie Perez saying the word "kinkajou" repeatedly. Just FYI.
Oh man. I can imagine. Rosie Perez saying *anything* is pretty damned annoying. Where did you hear that?
I thought it was Penélope Cruz saying "It's possible" during that shampoo commercial I see on tv every 10 seconds. I can imitate her perfectly, and I walk around the house flipping my hair and saying "eeeees pahsssseeeeeeeeeeblllll", much to the dismay of everyone in my family.
She does the voice of "Click" the camera on "Go, Diego, Go." (A show created, in my opinion, solely because parents of little boys weren't letting them buy Dora merchandise.) Anyway...half an hour of Rosie saying "Can you say kink-a-jou? Kinkajou! Kinkajou! Where is the kinkajou?" may cause insanity and/or permanent hearing loss.
I thought it was Penélope Cruz saying "It's possible" during that shampoo commercial I see on tv every 10 seconds.
And here I thought I was the only one who found that annoying. I never knew she was a famous person. I always wondered why they let that woman talk in the commercial- I guess that explains it.
Another million years ago? That movie where Nicolas Cage is a policeman who splits his lottery ticket with waitress Bridget Fonda as a tip? And he wins? And his wife is greedy would-be social climber Rosie Perez? My husband and I are still quoting Rosie's "Stiff her!" from that movie.
Penélope Cruz actually has a nice, lilting voice when speaking her native Spanish, as can be witnessed in a film I highly recommend, Volver. (That Spanish lisp does it for me every time.)
Rosie, on the other hand, would sound like a Yugo collision in any language.
My girlfriends and I play a game in which we cast the movie of our lives, with the most unfortunate actor pics to play ourselves. Very vaguely resembling, but not getting us at all, but Hollywood may think so, in a misguided way. My very very hot friend M is totally played by Andie McDowell, it's the funniest pic in the game.
