I need advice about watching TeeVee. Do I Netflix the second season of Battlestar Galactica, or jump ship?→[More:]

Does BG get exponentially better in the second season, or is it the same schtick?

Also, what's up with The Wire--is it "adult" fare or something I could watch with my son who is 10?

I'd say Season 2 of Galactica is pretty similar to Season 1: I like both.

Season 3 got a bit uneven, though I liked the first few episodes.

The Wire: definitely not for kids. Watch this scene though.

I (too) enjoyed season 2. Season 3 has some high highs and some low lows.
