Post #150 is a somewhat seasonal music break for when you want it.→[More:] Except i have season of the witch playing on the other computer.
Once on a the bus from DC to NYC this kid all of ten decided he was sitting next to me and we each traded an earbub. He was playing the vilest pseudo rap ever and i was playing OK Comouter, which he called "Christmas Music." (A borrowed techno tape was "Mortal Kombat")
So play Airbag.
Frankly, I prefer the Original Grinchter, as vocalized by the late great Thurl Ravenscroft. It's just fun just to say "Thurl Ravenscroft". Come on, everybody, all together...
THURL RAVENSCROFT!!!
THURL RAVENSCROFT!!!
THURL RAVENSCROFT!!!
It's also much more fun to call someone a "three decker sauerkraut and toadstool sandwich with arsenic sauce" than "asshole".
for the record (or CD), eth, I DO very much appreciate all your music offerings and love the Aimee Mann, but Nat King Cole owns "The Christmas Song" and ain't never give it up; still, her "I'll Be Home for Christmas" blew the Bing Crosby original away...
If you would like to post the classics, i'd like to have them. Most of mine are one the other computer. i was just going to post Pot Kettle Black sounds very like a cure tribute and two versions of Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself, but go ahead.
i do love the original grinch, of course, and while MR. Magoo always bugged me, that Scrooge was a musical achievement.
