Well, it was in the context of us trash talking each other in babelfished Dutch, Chinese, Russian, etc. then reverse translating for hilarious results like "this game my nose hairs withdraw with special tool.[pliers]"

I was wondering if it might be one of those older, pre-unicode encodings for Japanese.

I went here and entered the link to this page (http://metachat.org/index.php/2007/12/06/top_sekret_kode). It showed some Japanese characters for some but not all of your message. So maybe, but maybe not.

It says:

Yeah, this looks like a message that's being displayed in the wrong character encoding (e.g. a Cyrillic encoding). Unfortunately, by pasting it into this ISO-8859-1 HTML page, I reckon a few characters have been munged, making it harder to figure out what encoding it's in. I've tried converting it straight into a few obvious ones, and none of them looks likely.

How did you receive the message? By email? Is there any way you can send us a straight copy of the original text?
