Tonight for dinner I made mdonley's zucchini bread and essexjan's butternut squash soup. They're both amazing, and taste really amazing together. Yummy.

Are those Spanek things any good? I remember seeing them on QVC probably 15 years ago and wondering at the time if they were just another bit of crap.

Last night I had stir-fried turkey breast strips with garlic, lemon pepper, chard and broccoli. It was lovely and there's plenty left over for today.

I made soup with "Trahana" a teenytiny, slightly sour Greek pastina, often homemade. I made mine (homemade, but not by me :)) with olive oil and minced bits of sun-dried tomato, red pepper, carrot, zucchini, and feta.

Here's a recipe for a breakfast version.
