Dan, I see that the space bar is still kaput. Any closer to knowing how to go about fixing it?

I was responding to comments to this thread over in AskMe, and I noticed that the space bar had started to work sporadically (it is hard to quit using it, even if it does not work).

The more and more I typed, the more it worked, and by now it is working except at the extreme ends. (this comment is being typed from work)

I am guessing that there was some condensation under it, or a bit of dirt.

If it does not come all the way back, a new keyboard is cheap enough.
