Need a phrase translated into French or Italian or some other language. Likely NSFW. [More:]
It would be delightful if somebody could tell me how to write "fuck it bucket" in French or Italian. (I tried babelfish - and the results while being kind of funny weren't exactly right.)

I am making my SIL a fuck it bucket for xmas and it would be nice if it could sit in her home office so I need to use another language on it. His wife is an interior decorator so I was thinking French or Italian would be nice.

I am also making one for my brother but his office is upstairs and doesn't get the traffic that his wife's office gets. So his can have FUCK IT BUCKET written in English.
(For my brother's I am using tacky, ugly holographic mailbox letters.)

I am also giving him a Jesus penny bank with an emergency wine fund in it.

Mercy Buckets & Donkey Shane in advance.
I don't know what a "fuck it bucket" is.

I think part of the allure of the thing in English is that it rhymes. I don't know how that would pan out in French or Spanish.

To define this term without making people lose their jobs: it's a bucket where one places various vices, usually edible, to be grabbed while confronting something unpleasant. Long day at work? Reach inside the bucket and find a candy bar, a Jarritos (how I pine for thee, Mandarina!), a box of jelly beans, etc.

As for your bucket, I nominate the walrus, but with the lolwalrus phrasing changed to (incorrect) French: "J'AS UN SEAU"

''baisez-ceci' seau' (note layered quotes), if my very rusty French is to be trusted, means something like ''fuck that' bucket.' But you lose the rhyme. Hmm. Well, somebody with a better command of the language will probably come along.

how do you fuck a bucket?

if you explain very patiently what a fuck it bucket is, I'll be happy to translate it for you

The rhyming component isn't as important as what the thing is in the case of SIL.

And yes, a fuck it bucket is just a bucket that has candy (or whatever) in it that you turn to on bad days when you feel like saying "fuck it."

Hmm, someone named 'box' asking how to fuck a bucket.
My day is made.

Here's a list of French curses.

This is slightly roundabout, and I'd wait for matteo to weigh in (and check my spelling and grammar), but:

In Italian, non vale la pena means "It's not worth it" (literally, "It's not worth the pain").

The Italian word for a basket seems to be paniere, which could lead to the pun:

Non vale il paniere, It's not worth the basket.

'sti cazzi might be the phrase you are looking for in Italian that's closest to 'Fuck it'. (I bow to matteo's obvious superiority in this realm, however). It's along the lines of 'Who cares' or 'Screw it'. Literally it means 'these dicks', so it's way ruder than occhiblu's version.

secchio di 'sti cazzi I think would be a 'Fuck It Bucket'.
secchio di cazzi, however, would be 'Bucket of Cocks'.

and just to be complete, Vafansecchio might be 'Go fuck your bucket'. But our egregio Sig. matteo might have better suggestions for swearword-play.

Dammit, romakimmy, I'd been trying to work together "Vafanculo" and "secchio" for hours and came up with nothing linguistically pleasing, and you go and put it all in one word and it sounds even more melodious than the original. Bah, I say! :-)

Don't feel too bad occhi - I nicked the idea from my fiancè's nephew, who changes culo to something else so he doesn't get in trouble for swearing (VafanTozzi maybe?)

But my real moment of shining glory in made up Italian? That would be the time I said a cazzo di cavallo instead of a cazzo di cane. Since I'm from Texas, that gaffe had my friends losing bladder control for hours. :D
