What podcasts do you listen to? I've hit on podcasts as being the perfect thing to listen to at the gym.

So far, the only thing I've found that I've liked is This American Life.

I'd like to know what you all listen to. I'm new to the world of podcasts, so any suggestions would work.
Wait Wait Don't Tell Me. Alan Watts.

You might find some good suggestions in these AskMe threads.

I guess I like the quirkiness of This American Life. So to narrow the focus, podcasts in that vein would work.

Well, the question in the second linked thread includes, "I enjoy the BBC's "In Our Time", which features serious discussion of historical events and people by academics working in the field, and also quirky, thought-provoking programs like WNYC's "Radio Lab" and "This American Life"."

So, there's one or two right here, and we haven't even gotten to the answers yet!

I've only listened a small handful of times, but people do seem to really like Radio Lab.

I love Little Steven's Underground Garage, but sadly it's flash based not podcast.

Radio Lab... It's like This American Life with a dash of science.

Car Talk, All Songs Considered, Fair Game with Faith Sallie, BBC Documentary Archive, Wait, Wait... Don't Tell me! and the 60 minutes podcast.

You might like some other stuff like Definitely Not The Opera, Search Engine, Best of As It Happens, Talk of the Nation and Fresh Air. Look in the ITunes podcast directory for CBC, NPR, BBC and PRI.

Do not listen to thepinksuperhero. The dawn and drew show is better. Also, I listen to the podcast novels of Scott Sigler. He's just started a new book called nocturnal and its good so far (if you like horror)

Not a podcast, technically, but "Preaching the Blues" is archived on the KEXP website for two weeks after each broadcast, and they broadcast a three-hour show each week.

It's fabulous.

Savage Love podcasts - People's sex problems make all my crap seem incredibly humdrum. Perfect to listen too while cleaning the bathroom or folding laundry.
Subscribe thru i-tunes or The Stranger.
