Texting makes me feel like a caveman , all thumbs and grunting concentration. i need to do it more to get better at it but i am put off by the textaholic kids (unless i'm doing something else at the same time.)[More:] i almost went on an open call for texters here a couple times now.
Maybe when i feel more coordinated--
--fuck! and i just splashed a tiny bit of drink on my keys! This wouldn't be a worry with the OLPC laptop!
Just found the perennial golfballed remains of a lime in the crisper as the sound of ice pellets speckle the windows. Wish there was a use for it besides sock whalloping someone.
i do so love the stranded yet cozy feeling for winter. If only i was more fully prepared.

Two more bits of conversational fodder for anyone who wants to bite before i soak in the latest PR:

Woke today from a long, involved dream that ended with me in a somewhat posh restaurant all disgruntled because the guys i was with were angry i wanted to leave because the needed me to be there as a beard. As if i wouldn't be happy to if they'd told me first.
Not really metachat related but weird and amusing in retrospect. Waking to kitty face dispels all bitter illogical dream dregs.

Should i bother with doing a daily comic for a year? Even if it was basically ended up like more of a sketchbook/moleskine page a day?

Yes, please. Or even one a week would be cool.

Really? Is it the daily aspect?
Because i will end up paying attenti
on to or watching things because of their regularity.
i was thinking of a cumulative week but it thought it might be too easy to get slack.

You're a lovely audience, bmarkey. It'd be worth doing it for an audience of you.

Let me once again applaud delivery services in all shapes and forms. i am now reasonably stocked in every general category.

I can see where daily might get to be a drag for you, as I pretty much burnt myself out on writing daily. As an audience, the more you can give me the better. And thanks.

i've said it in many a venue offline, but a good fan--
someone who appreciates and respects a thing without agenda
--it's a thing all its own in an achievement that matters in a way that's never quantified and barely mentioned.

i've known a small handful of people who were great fans in a way that never gets played out to any notice unless they happen to be prolific photographers, writers or odd collectors, and even then, rarely. In large part because of an obfusticating ego that undermines the point.
