Hypothetical Question. Say you're living in a weird parallel world where you've been convicted of a thought crime and you're due to be executed. As part of your last meal, you get up to three hours to watch anything on a TV that contained all the worlds TV & Film from all time. What would you watch, and why?
I was just thinking about this in the shower, and came to the conclusion that I'd probably watch the three imaginationland episodes of south park that I haven't seen. And maybe next weeks episode of Spooks. I know it's not a groundbreaking answer, and I'm concious that I've gone for stuff I haven't seen, but there you have it.

Howard Stern. I have always found him to be a good distraction when I'm feeling down, and distraction is what I would be looking for if I was sentenced to death.

The final of Lost, maybe? Even though I don't watch it any more.

Assuming there are no videos of my family, so I can watch my nieces and nephews cavorting guilelessly one last time...

Casablanca. Maybe twice through.

The Simpsons from when they were good. Something stupid and cheerful to destract me.

Something with nature, especially with lots of water in it, like rushing rivers.

Music. Maybe a best of Jools Holland coupled with some old BBC concert footage from the 70's with people like John Martyn or The Specials. Or rather, I'd escape, destroy the fascist state and then watch that.

Probably Baraka, or something similar. It's not like I'll be playing real close attention anyway.

Now q, you are going to tell me that you are about to meet your Maker, and you would watch PORN???

Anyway, I think I'd like to watch old Kathryn Kuhlman tapes.

Do I have to control the knobs or is that duty taken care of by a guard/technician?

Well, if you can keep your momentum up after, you could go out on a nice big endorphine high.

Love Actually. Just watched it last night. Again. It's such good movie, really sweet without being cloying. That would leave me an hour. Hrm. Something with cats and dogs because I love them so.

In reality I'd just love to snuggle with the mister for those last three hours.

No way would I watch movies at all. If I were convicted of a thought crime, I'd spend the last three hours having my own thoughts, damn it.
