New Data Want to guess who the top commenters were?→[More:]During weeks 30-39 there were 1657 threads and 19738 comments from 365 unique users. That kind of answers the original question about how many active users there are here, at least for that period. I'll post the list of top commenters in a few minutes.

I was going to say I shoot for quality, not quantity; however, a quick perusal of my comment history seems to indicate otherwise. So, I guess what I'm aiming for is... proper spelling?

I see that amongst the top ten, there are 6 women and 4 men. In the top 20 posters, I think 11 were women and 9 were men.

So it's pretty much even stevens.

Keep in mind this data was culled from a relatively small short time period. I'd be curious to see how the numbers would compare to those gathered from over a period of 6 months or a year.

Yes, this was just a 10 week 'snapshot' of who was active. I could have another go at a whole year's worth of data, if you'd all find it interesting.
