This made me happy. On Disability Awareness Night at Fenway Park, an autistic guy sings the national anthem and gets the giggles. The crowd helps out.
That's totally awesome!

This made me smile a mile wide. Happy holidays and good wishes for your mom, BitterOldPunk. (Good wishes to everybody, actually.)

That's amazing. First time I've ever seen the crowd sing the anthem like that. Plus that kid wearing #10 cracking up with the singer is great.

Reminds me of the video where Maurice Cheeks helped out that girl when she got lost.

Maybe you're not such a BitterOldPunk after all. :)

My friend sent me a link after we had a spirited chat dicussion of people being jerks to the disabled for various reasons. I was like "no way man that's not going to be any good at all" and he's like "no no no, it's nice, look" and I was like "it takes place in BOSTON, what could it possibly be" and he's like "STFU and CLICK IT"

And I did, and I was happy.

Oh, man. Totally in tears here.

I can't wait 'til my husband comes home so I can make him cry, too. Thanks, love.

Awww. Choked up. I'd have cried if it'd been "Advance Australia Fair".

Thanks, melissa may. She's doing OK, and is, in fact, making us turkey sammiches for lunch even as I type. I made cranberry/orange relish for the first time this year and it's awesome on a turkey sammich with some lettuce and bacon and mayo. Thanks for the good thoughts, the best to you and yours during the holidays!

That was good. I was a bit squeamish at first 'cause I wasn't sure where it was headed but it ended up being lovely.

I was also mildly amused that "Comments are disabled" ;-)

That's much better than saying "comments are retarded"...

*bonks eekacat on the head*

And I admit that I teared up a bit as well. I'm such a sap.
