I'm supposed to be decorating, but. . . [More:] I need/can't find thumbtacks and tape and a wreath hanger, and I'm overwhelmed by the magnitutde of Holiday Shitz we have, even if it is neatly packed in plastic tubs. Stuff. Gah.

Also, I don't know where to put the tree, even though it's a four foot tall aluminum.

A - I haven't found it yet.

B - The dog can't go upstairs after her surgery, so it should go downstairs, but there doesn't seem to be room.
i should be doing lots of things but i'm
A - overwhelmed by my own boobs since breaking down and buying bras that fit, and

B - still a bit thrown that i know someone on Project Runway. Sadly, it's not Elisa. Thank you, you tuber! Please keep 'em coming!

Hmmm. Maybe opt for a wreath this year instead of the tree? We skipped the whole decoration thing last year, but mrs chewie has requested the ladder tree this year, so up it shall go. We'll get a real wreath for our tv cave. That will probably go up before the tree. *rolls eyes*

Oh, the ladder tree is beautiful, and a great non-tree solution.

OOooooo who do you know on PR ethylene???? Spill the beans!

I think my live pine tree from last year died of thirst while I was wandering around Italy.

I go bed now.

I love the ladder tree, too, chewie, it's a classic. I wanted to do a triangle of lights on a wall, but I have no wall space big enough.

ethylene, who do you know on PR?!

You don't have to say, I don't say about people I know on televizzle, but I am curious!

I found tape and I have done the apparently once-a-year dusting of my mantle. Nice.

i think i'm decorating a dress form with halloween remnants and spangly bits.

i mentioned the PR thing because i only glancingly knew her, then instantly regretted it because i might say something that accidentally seemed mean.
i watched two episodes i found on you tube last night (because i suddenly thought to look, thank you, gracious Argentinian!) before i realized. It was when i went to the Bravo site to look for extras and stumbled into the runway show gallery, found a look that Daniel V. "did not get," and had to find out who made that thing-- it was Carmen. Man, that was a sudden headtrip. Back then she was still in architecture and talking about modeling. Then i watched them again and realized she's exactly the same! Weird. She was the mouthy black chick and i was the mouthy asian chick and the one time we were mouthy at each other the crowd of white people around us were scared. i liked her but i didn't know her that well, but i did wonder what would happen if we ever got mouthy on a subject where we disagreed.
So i didn't know her as a creative person in the tactile arts sense at all, and so far, it's just not my style. i just kept staring at the sleeves of what she was wearing on the last one, wondering if she made it, too, thinking of Benny Ninja's pointy shirt on ANTM, and how he would never wear that.
It's funny because it's all over already, but i've got to think she was scared shitless, but totally doing it because she could, and given the chance she's got to run with it to see how far she can get, for whatever she can get out of it.
Bold, it could be her signature word. Competitive, she always wants to win. Designer? Love ya, hon, but i'm waiting to see you auf.

i have been trying to weed this comment of snark but since four four is "over it" right now, i kinda wish i could do the PR recap. i love Elisa. She is never gonna make it, but she makes me think of those kids that not only let, but, nay, encouraged to be creative. We could go live on a happy acid trip cloud of love and make wunderkids for our traveling circus, presumably with a handler and secure funds to make sure we could be completely disconnected from preformed conceptions without me going nuts from having to be the pragmatic one.

While they seem like opposites, it's funny to see how little i'm like either any more.

i can't wait to see what happens this season and it's just cruel that Bravo isn't as freely available as Fox News and the Church Channel. It's gonna be a great season. SJP? Score! What next? Who else wanted to go on a fabric free for all? i have a reason to finally like you tube.

Sorry, rainbaby! And now back to the sports and weather with Tad!
