Is this the most irritating song ever written? I heard it on the radio today and it's still in my head. It's got to be the most annoying song ever. Unless, of course, you know different ...
It's no Lean Like A Cholo

It's cheesy, but I wouldn't have called it annoying.

And it's no The Ladies' Bras.

i'm pretty sure that this is far more annoying.

Hey, I like the Ohio Express song!

The one essexjan posted is pretty awful, though. I'm afraid to click on the others.

It's bad, but pretty much anything Olivia Newton-John ever recorded is worse, by my lights.

*shivers with remembered awfulness of ON-J. Not gonna look any of that crap up*

Are you including Xanadu in that?

I'm afraid to click on the others.

Do not click on The Ladies Bras. It will be the death of you.

Cotton Eye Joe by Rednex. Great, now it's in my head. Oh God, make it stop!

Oh hell, "yummy yummy yummy" makes me want to vomit it's so terrible. All those other songs were ok, I thought.

The Song That Doesn't End only annoys a select few. Don't slam the door!

Barney is still the king of vomitus.

The opening electric piano almost sent me running off screaming. The dialogue format (what? the woman doesn't get credited?) was obnoxious, the Kenny G-esque saxophone breaks... this is the complete package.

"You can thank your lucky stars that we're not as smart as we'd like to think we are." This is so close to being a brilliant lyric, yet misses the mark in just such a way to become almost Bulwer-Lytton-esque.

The "artist" (I use the term loosely) has a website and he has the lyrics to his other musical monstrosities there.

And I thought I remembered hearing it before (but had consciously blocked it from my memory)... 1978, almost 30 years ago, when I was in the radio biz working for a station that would be likely to play that kind of thing. Which reminds me of the then-overplayed "Sometimes When We Touch". AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!

Everything Paul McCartney did solo. Notably Wonderful Christmas Time.

Don't make me haul out the worst of the 1970s... Four words: Playground In My Mind.

You know, I thought the fact that MTV and VH1 didn't start until the 80s would have protected us from videos of these songs...

I've had "Smell yo dick" by Riskay stuck in my head for the last four days. Surprisingly, I don't mind that much.
