When are we gonna tell NPR that we're tired of Susan Stamberg's cranberry relish recipe?[More:]The whole thing has such an aura of forced, manufactured 'tradition' to it. If they get as many requests for it as they claim, post it on the damn website and be done with it.
Yeah, it's like the Art Buchwald (SP/RIP) column.

I was thinking of making a "Who is your favorite NPR voice" post for a time, but I seem to remember there was one, but can't find one, in the past. Maybe it was on Metafilter.

Mine's Ann Taylor. I have no idea why.

Most of the NPR folks have to work through the holidays... let 'em have their fun. :)

I like Noah Adams. He makes me feel reassured.

I heard that this morning. I dig NPR.

rainbaby I'd have trouble picking a favorite. I like Ann Taylor too, but I also like Neil Conan (sp?) a lot. About the only ones I don't like are the people's pharmacy goober duo and the chick that hosts the splendid table.

god I'm a nerd. I can't help it - NPR's all I can stand on mainstream.

Kye Risdall (I totally just butchered his name).

I'm not a big fan of the All Songs Considered guy that talks while the band is heading to the stage.

I get my radio cranberry sauce recipes from Adam Carolla.

I love the cranberry in a can. That's good enough for me and my guests. Anyone who complains is unamerican.

Not one of my cranberry relishes resembles Susan Stamberg.

As we all well know, the Cranberry Albatross will be around our necks until we start withholding our contributions to our local stations.

Rainbaby: it's the way she says the phrase "Dow Jones Industrial Average."

It's sort of an "inDUSTrill".

I haven't even heard her voice in three months as I'm in Latvia and I remember that expression perfectly.

Favorite voice? Wade Goodwyn. I was almost sad when all of the Enron fallout settled finally and he wouldn't be reporting so much anymore.

I love Nina Totenberg and Andrei Condrescu.

Do you keep your online and 'real' lives separate? || Every critic LOVED the new Coen brothers film.
