Heh, thanks. She's definitely part husky, and other part is strongly Aussie/Border Collie. The nose freckles and white tipped tail make me think Border Collie, so perhaps a tri-colored border collie...
Holy crap, what an amazing looking puppy! And so smart looking too! By smart, of course, I mean able to penetrate my thoughts simply by looking at me. I rarely gush, and even more rarely use exclamation marks. I'm glad I saved them up for this post -- congratulations to both of you.
Deborah, Dallas was one I was considering, but another couple had him on hold. I slept in that day besides, and didn't make it in then. (Graveyard shift is a bitch). When I checked that afternoon I found Saffron, so I guess it worked out in the end. While I was waiting for Saffron the couple that had Dallas on hold passed up on him because their dog didn't get along with him.
Lassie, thanks. I'm proud of Saffron that she squeezed your effusiveness and exclamation points out of you. What really sold me on her is that she really is very smart. Silver is a bright pooch too, so it's only fitting that he has a bright little sister.
Awesome, and good she found you, eekacat. Border collies are super intelligent and need lots of interaction and attention, so I think you will do great with Saffron :)
redvixen, Silver is pretty happy with her, though there will be some adjusting for him since he won't be the lone dog anymore, and will have to share my attention. Part of the reason I got Saffron is that Silver is so social and playful, he really needed a playmate other than the cat. If one day is any indication, it'll work out pretty well. Luckily for me, Silver is a total sweetheart.
