It' nice to be proven wrong Chichester is great →[More:] I was warmly received. everyone is young and fun and cooler than our lot. they really REALLY need an IT guy; the consultant they use made an ass of himself today and I looked like the hero. We also found this bigass CRM wiki thing which will require my admin skills. they want to buy it... they'll never be able to implement it without me. I may have suddenly become indispensible.

I guess I've passed the test, eh?

Cheers, everyone. I had a meeting today, and they want to keep me on. They'll have to sell it to the board, but they seemed determined. I may even ask for a rise, since I'm going to be twice as busy.
