Looks like these editors could use an editor. [More:]Flash site, so you need to click 'The Write Room' and then 'Editing'. My apologies.

Drunken-sailor-style comma abuse? Check. Subject-verb disagreement? Check. Incorrect word use? Check. Opening phrase: "Writing, whether fiction and non-fiction...". Tsk tsk tsk.
Yeah, srsly. Maybe it's a ploy to hire new editors with keen eyeballs. It's like when I worked at a newspaper, our "proofreaders wanted" ad was riddled with mistakes. No one ever caught them all.

I bet Elizard would, though. And then she'd bust in with a gun and shoot a marble off of a teacup.

Without breaking the teacup. And then she'd totally use it to make you a cup of chai or something. THE BOMB!

Yeah, maybe that's it. Never occurred to me. There's gotta be some reason the opening page describing such a service so desperately needs it.

Oh, my. Yeah... that's awful for a service advertising editing.

And along with the grammatical errors and typos, three "whether"s in the first four sentences.

Not to mention that "whether" addiction along with the ubiquitous "from - to" construction are a couple of my personal writing bugaboos anyway. It seems like all marketing oriented writing wants to include these apparently ever-so-compelling words and phrases.
