Have you ever wished you could framegrab an image from your dreams? [More:]
I am closest to the camera. I have a guitar slung across my back. I am looking over my shoulder at the camera.

She is ahead of me, her coat collar turned up, hands in its pockets. She is looking down at the ground.

He's further along the path. His arms are in this \0/ position. He is looking at the horizon and laughing.

We are fading into the distance.
That's very cool, and yes, I have wished that. (In fact, when I used to play with 3D rendering programs, I'd try to recreate my dream images. (self-linkage))

Framegrab dream images by pressing Cmd-Option Giant-Bat-Faced-Lettuce.

This is assuming that like me, all your dreams contain giant bat faced lettuces.

(* I'm procrastinating now. Should really get some work done *)

Those are TOTALLY COOL bp.

I want to framegrab my dreams too, particularly the other day? When I was walking that moose out of the museum with a ribbon around its neck? Only it was really a giraffe? And then it saw the striped donkey on the bridge? Yeah, that moment.

BP, I too love those. What intriguing dreams you must have! I love the detail on the chain.

I've never wanted to capture an image from a dream, but I have wanted to click on text in dreams, and in real life. I can't look at catalogs now. I want to click on the photos to zoom in on them.

BP I really like the one looking down at the guys picking up the red things. I could totally see dreaming that.

Fantastic images. Maya?

I actually have a lot of my song ideas as I'm drifting off to sleep - in a hypnagogic state. I *try* and make myself wake up and write them down.

I also get ideas when I go for walks. I need to get a little portable recorder thing.

But yeah, I mostly dream about music. If there are images involved, they drift away and are never remembered. Just snatches: a movement of some sort; a kiss; colours; clouds... nothing even as concrete as what you describe.

It's funny: the current thinking is that all dreams only last a few short seconds (never minutes)... no matter how long they seem to the dreamer.

Those are amazing, BP!

The only times I wish for a "frame grab" in my dreams is during my (somewhat frequent) dreams where I've found books by authors I love, and read a bit of them--books that don't exist. And all the nonexistent Ace Doubles I've seen in my dreams, or bizarre musical instruments, I'd love to have pictures of those.

Most of the time, though, in the irrational emotional landscape of dreams, an image simply isn't enough, because there are feelings associated with the things I'm seeing that would not be obvious (even to myself!) if I just had a picture.

Great images. They look like they're from one of the early mystery/adventure games (a genre almost completely defunct). BP rocks.

I'll sometimes draw a scene in my dream journal when it's difficult to describe with words. But it's never anything as awesome as BP's scenes.
