omg bunny? This is my first time, be gentle. I have been lurking, but I may have missed some of the more arcane etiquette. Is a bunny clip, though, and when I saw it, I thought of you guys.
So, you broke down and unlurked, eh? Welcome to the par-tay!
This is pretty adorable; I didn't know that show bunnies did this. I guess they like it, yes? I mean, they're not like dogs, right? Dogs will do something for you just because you want them to, but I assume most animals are not so accommodating. Like, if there were activity competitions for cat shows, the featured events would have to be: walking on computer keyboard, scratching sofa; sticking head in slipper.
Oh, btw, thebrokedown... I don't think we have any arcane etiquette (somebody correct me, if you think of anything). Thread conventions are pretty much the same as MeFi, but mostly it's just a more relaxed environment meant mostly for fun. We don't mind doubles or self links by regular members, and we don't encourage policing other members (contact a mod if there's a problem). We do have silly in-jokes that become clear enough to anyone who hangs out, and they're mostly explicated in the wiki.
The only thing that we have a rule about (beyond regular common sense) is that we don't do complain-y posts about Metafilter, for a couple of reasons: Firstly, because MetaTalk exists precisely for that so Matt, Jess and cortex can deal with those problems, and they shouldn't have to look here to see if people are upset etc.; secondly, so we don't end up as a gossipy place talking trash about other MeFites. That's about it.
My fat [HUGE] bunny can jump really high too. Now only if I could get him into the harness without him flipping out. I just took some new pictures of him last night. Maybe we will have bunny pictures this evening.
This has actually been posted before, but I was glad to see it again! Now, if only I could get my gliders to do tricks. Like fetching me a glass of wine when needed...
mudpup, my brother's family had one chicken who was a really good flyer, and what a pain that was! She'd fly over the fences to the neighbors' and eat their gardens right up, and then hang out on the roofs where no one could reach her.
It's amazing how much damage one hen can do.
