The New Saul. Discussed on MeFi days ago. Released electronically this morning. Anyone listening to it?→[More:]
It's not an easy album by any means, but it's good. And as I'm listening to tracks for the second or third time, they keep revealing themselves and getting better. The influence from producer Trent Reznor is rather obvious -- sometimes a little too much so -- but for a second volley in the so-called music war, we could do a lot worse.

Thanks for the reminder--I'm listening to it as we speak. So far, I like it pretty well--judging only by the first song, his rhyming is a little more rap battle and a little less poetry slam, which I like very much. But the beats are more rockin', like 'Om Nia Merican' or something, which I'm less exited about.

And yeah, Reznor influence--I agree.

I've never listened to Saul before; I'm grabbing the free version, but if I really like it, I'll pony up the $5 'cause I really like this model.
