Harry Potter offshoot unveiled [More:]This? [nsfw] Oh, sorry, my mistake.
Only 7 copies! I can't get over that.

Stephen King is the king of limited editions. The last time I checked (late 90s), he had had almost as many small-run titles as he did mass publications.

Honestly, I sort of wish I didn't have to read any more news about J.K. Rowling, at least until she decides to publish another book.

Y'know, I haven't said it (out loud) til now but your first link reminds me:

I do love a nice goodie trail on a main, but Radcliffe's is freakish in some of those shots. Call it a goodie superhighway.

I imagine the hairdressers trimmed Radcliffe a bit to achieve that effect. Or maybe they glued some more hair on.

I'll wait to see the first link when he comes to Broadway ;-).

Not publishing the stories is just mean. Marguerite Henry included a book-within-a-book in Born to Trot but people would STILL ask about the separate copy, so she finally published One Man's Horse.

This is fairly stupid, and in a way cruel to her young fans. She is auctioning off the 7th edition for charity, if she actually cared how MUCH it would raise for the charity, I am sure a generally available printing would raise more total revenue, and more importantly would be ongoing.
