Yea, and I'm guilty of #25 - Toilet Rugs, but what else I am supposed to do to cover the fact that the tile on the floor is uneven and 2 different colors?

I'm guilty of #9, Improper Lighting, among other things. I don't use a lot of ambiance lighting. I own different lighting sources, but why turn those on when I can have a big overhead light that illuminates everything? In the show one of the designers commented that you should never turn on a big overhead light unless you are looking for a lost item. She was speaking of lounging areas, not the kitchen.

Use a staple gun to attach them to the back of furniture or along baseboards.

Um, one missed shot with that staple gun and you have a fire hazard. But at least your room will look nice before it goes up in flames!

That's what I thought Terrapin. Even if your aim is true, I don't think that kind of treatment does the insulation much good.

Pretty good list, although I kind of like the "fear of colour" room. They're so right with the tacky couch covers though, so they earn back those points.

They totally nailed it with those toilet floor mat things. Anybody who puts one of those in their house should be forced to sniff it.

I stand behind my toilet floor mat (Well actually, I stand on it)! And I wash it semi-regularly, so I'm not afraid to sniff it, either.

I wash my toilet/shower mats every week or so when I do all the laundry. The boyfriend never understands this, but his shower mat was also very very moldy before we moved in together. Gross!
