Wow. Just this past summer we went to a local Renaissance Faire. The highlight was the jousters, and we all went "OWWW!" when one lance slipped and hit the other knight in the upper thigh. What a shame the same event led to a man's death. I'm guessing he got a massive infection? Poor guy!

Yup. He's been the host for yonks; he's very good at it. It's a popular show, and (AFAIK) the only serious attempt at translating Archaeology to television. They were in my town recently, at British Camp.
