Spoilers: JK let slip that Ron's pet rat
Used to gnaw on Weasley's ginger pubes,
That Minerva fancied Norris (Filch's cat),
While Hedwig sucked Hermione's boobs,
And Albus loved to sit atop the Sorting Hat.
For this Harry dirt, we thank the Intertubes.
Okay, so I was a really rabid fan until the last book came out. But now I can't even stand to think about all this Harry Potter nonsense, what with everyone getting married and having children and dying but coming back to life or whatever.
So what I'm saying is this: Jo, please shut up about your stupid books. You ruined them. You killed your own legacy. And I don't want to know about Albus Dumbledore's sex life, because you killed him too. Remember that? Remember? First you killed his physical body, and then you tore him apart by sullying his memory with all sorts of scandalous information about his dark dealings. Please, spare us from any more details. If you tell me that Ginny likes it in the arse, I'm leaving and never coming back.
I say she can do whatever the hell she wants with that much cash in her coffers. I couldn't read any Potter books after 4. Too long and painfully detailed.
I'm way out of the loop on HP and JKR -- was this summer's novel the last one, or is there one more coming? I'd planned to sit down and reread the first couple to see if I'm interested in plowing through the later ones. Too little time, too many books.
It doesn't matter, but she was asked a question and she answered it. I think it's kind of good that she plotted a character, and then refused to show off his sexuality in the books. I'm pleased that she doesn't think it's an issue that a major character is gay.
And a spokesman for gay rights group Stonewall added: "It's great that JK has said this. It shows that there's no limit to what gay and lesbian people can do, even being a wizard headmaster."
!!!
Except, of course, for reality. Magic and all... oh never mind.
