Cute 2.0[More:]Hell froze over in my house the other day. On Friday morning, whilst getting up and first dealing with the various and sundry needs of our 3 cats and 1 dog (feeding, letting out, letting in, endlessly) I heard a little meow from the back deck and this little thing was out there looking forlorn.

By this time, my wife had gotten up and I said "come here, look what's here," and she comes and goes out and picks it up, and the look in her eye immediately told me that I would lose any struggle not to keep this thing.

Daughter then got up, and the hopelessness of my "no more pets" position was cubed.

We went around trying to find who lost her, to no avail, so I guess she (Melissa) stays.

The other cats are only a little displeased, and the dog is agnostic to it all.
AWWWW! So nice when someone special comes to stay isn't it!

Melissa already looks quite at home.

Yes, I'm a sucker for any needy creature too... all of mine have found me. I never, never have to go looking. Course, I'm too tender-hearted to stand the pound. (good thing too)

Melissa is very thankful you're giving her a home. Much love and good karma for you!

She's adorable, and from the sound of it, a very lucky girl.

Cute 2.0 indeedy, danf! I can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing, even with our current population at 4.

Yay, another four cat household! I'd have kept her, too (she matches my newest kitties!). Although, most likely, I would have had to remind the mister that I own 99% of the house when he threatened to throw me out.

Haha, when I clicked on Deborah's links it told me they were "Outside my Safe Search Filter" - presuming innocence, I clicked through to view the fantastic cat pictures! What does it tell me at the top of the page?

If you've changed your mind about wanting to see this content, you can ESCAPE. TAKE ME TO THE KITTENS!

I am easily amused.

If it weren't for the fact that we have a crazy possessive and vicious alpha cat (she's siamese) my "one pet per lap" rule would have been broken by me a dozen times over.

And if the Foodle’s on a poodle, and the poodle’s is eating noodles, we call this a… || Everyone needs their own self-declared holiday.
