Oh no WAY! Bravia does it again. Sorry, but I like this more than the bunnies.
There are almost no ads that I enjoy in the same way as I would actual art (that is, stuff made for its own sake, rather than being produced solely for profit and promotional purposes)... the Bravia ads are a cut above (along with some of VW's).
bad post (you can tell that it is), bad choice of music, and most importantly fugly "beauty shots" - in one scene the pyramid is on top of some poor persons head. Cheap.
There's no middle ground between close-ups of thread bouncing down the sides and the 'money shot' of the coloured pyramid. I don't claim to be some CGI expert, but I think you need some link (like the camera pulling back) between the micro and the macro to maintain suspension of disbelief. Also, the swaying of the thread in the wind at the end is terribly unconvincing.
Not as good as the bouncy balls or Glasgow paint ones.
By bad post I meant bad post-production. Like matthewr points out there's no pan-out between the close-ups and the full shot, and basically the full shot is all post-production. Sorry. ;)
I still love the SF version the bestest, because it was the first (so we hadn't seen it before), and because the frog suddenly jumping out was AWESOME!!!
(Also like this one, which is reminiscent of the apartment building Bravia ad, but I think well done technically and music-wise.)
