Unlikeliest uninsured event ever.→[More:]I got the renewal notice for my cats' insurance today and one of the exclusions says:
"You are not covered in respect of claims if your cat has been used for security guard purposes, or for racing."

Someone told me that siamese cats were bred to patrol the roofs of temples, but I can't find any confirmation of this.
OK, found something here: "Siamese cats guarded temples in Siam when a person of high rank died. The Siamese cat was considered a receptacle for the dead person's soul." Not really the same as a security guard, eh?
I always kind of wanted to be the Michael Vick of the cat racing world. But now that I know I can't get my racing cats insured, I think I'll find another line.
Well, one of mine is a black & white patrol kitty... (yes, police cars here used to be black and white)
And the other zooms - he's named Zeek the Streak...
I'm totally amused. And, I'm also amazed you read the fine print...I've gotta start reading fine print.
It must be fun being the person who comes up with those things.
Due to the fact that it takes a crack team of us to come up with such things, then input/output the thing into a bizillion places in the organization. . .
Monkey could actually hurt someone if she really wanted to - she can be psychotic to people she really likes so I think if someone comes through she doesn't like...it would just end badly (for them.)
I think I should get your quote, jan, on business cards. Then when people ask, "What do you do?" I can give it to them and say, "I come up with things like this, and furthermore, make sure these things are administered properly while adhering to applicaple industry standards and practices, from a forms management perspective."
