I did something totally gross by accident this morning. Please tell me I'm not the only one that has done this. (possible graphic uckyness inside)→[More:]

I was brushing my teeth and, like I always do, finished by brushing my tongue. All of the sudden... *blagh* I barfed in the sink. I was shocked. I must have hit something just the right way because I didn't feel it coming at all. Now I have to get a new toothbrush.

Addendum: I've done it more than once, actually. Double yarg.

I'm most likely to trigger the YARG! reflex (or come close, as TPS does) when I'm getting ready for a trip, or on the first day of school: I'm up early, coffee roiling in my belly, hoping I make my train or plane or shuttle, brushing earnestly and thinking about the day when --- blarf!

When I had morning sickness, I had to brush my teeth with a teeny little baby toothbrush, slowly and in short increments, else BBBBBBBBBLLLLLLLLLLARRRRRRRGGGH!!!!!!!!!!!

I come close to this almost every day. I guess I've developed a good anti-gag reflex, since I've never actually brought anything up, but I regularly get that about-to-hurl tightening in the abdomen.

I gag almost every time I brush. Horrific gag reflex. I would not make a good gay man.

Put me down in the "almost" crowd. I've found that brushing my tongue after using mouthwash seems to prevent it altogether, though I have no idea why.

You are not the only one. It happened to me once so bad I thought I was going to die. Seriously, I thought I was going to choke to death. I am not exaggerating for effect. It was real scary. I couldn't breath through my nose or my mouth and I recall thinking I was so glad my front door was open because if I died at least my landlord would see me laying on the floor and call 911 to come collect my body.

Yes, I have puked on someone during a certain act. So really puking in the sink, not so bad.

I'm slowly getting over viral bronchitis that may have been verging on walking pneumonia, for all I know. Every morning I'm coughing violently enough to be crouched, hands on knees, coughing really hard like a three-pack-a-day cigarette smoker until I'm sore (pulled muscles) and tired afterward.

This AM, I coughed hard and long enough that for a brief moment a wave of nausea went through me -- I think I came really close to coughing hard enough to trigger a "Technicolor yawn."
