*sigh* One of my many officemates is singing along to whatever that is leaking out of her earphones. Geez. Unfortunately she's the supervisor of the room, so I can't just laugh at her and tell her she sounds like an idiot.

Sneakily film her and then anonymously put it on Youtube and then anonymously email her the link. Just for shits and giggles. I only recommend this if you're sick of your job though.

It got worse, so I sucked it up and asked her to "sing more quietly." She seemed quite surprised she was doing it at all, which seems strange, but whatever, I'm just glad it's over for now.

I like the voice mail idea. If only I had voice mail -- this office is very 20th century in some ways.

Hey, if someone's singing out loud I'm assuming they're happy. Don't begrudge them that.

Unless, JanetLand, the source of her happiness is the misery she causes and iron fist she applies to her subordinates. In that case, all bets are off.

Koss "the boss" earplugs are the cheapest noise blocking earphones you'll find, unless you buy some cheap shooter earmuffs at walmart and place them over your earbuds.
