That's a carp. I wouldn't eat it.

My uncle just sent me a picture of a 56# pike. The guy was reeling in a 36"er and the monstrosity came up and grabbed it and wouldn't let go.

Note in the carp picture the placement of the fish near the camera and the angle also make it look larger than it actually is. That's an old fisherman trick. I'm attempting the same here, but couldn't manage to get the walleye to stick his fin up.

Here's the biggest pike I've caught, under 30" if I remember correctly, in Canada there's a slot where they breed the best, so you have to throw them back, this one was in that slot. They don't taste too good when they're that big anyway:
