Today at work, as we were unloding boxes of books for people trying to sell them to the store, my co-worker Alan said "you're kind of a man of the people, arent you?" I was going to ask him if he had ever heard of MeFi but we were interrupted by more work. Odd moment.

Heh. I think he said it because while I'm unloading, I like to shoot the breeze with the sellers, a lot of whom are homeless people or other street people, just to make the day go faster.
