TPS, after everyone here but Hugh beat the shit out of me last week, I've come to realise that metchat is a seriousness-free zone. If one is going to hang out here, serious opinions about politics have to be kept to oneself.

(YOu know what? There is plenty of attention to go round. I can follow Burma-I REFUSE to call it Myanmar on principle-but I can also track Britney.

I can prove it. I can actualy pronounce Aun Sang Suchi's name correctly altho I am sure I just massacred the spelling. I used to know a former Burmese Freedom fighter who made the best sushi in town. No lie.)

But it is true this is mostly a serious free zone. People need those.

Poor Brit. It's not even fun to mock her anymore. For some reason, the last few weeks worth of photos have me absolutely convinced that she is truly mentally ill. And I can't imagine anything worse than someone taking my babies.S

On a personal note, I was kind of glad to hear about the ruling. My sister is locked in a court battle to gain custody of her stepdaughter from a negligent mother who consistently refuses to comply with court orders. If KFed can get custody under such circumstances, my sister sure as hell can. So that's good.

None at all. I'm probably at fault for being too confrontational here in the first place.

It's difficult being a human who happened to fall out of a vagina on American soil without compounding the fact with rampant socialist tendencies and an aggressively anti-corporate stance.

As I told taz today, I should probably come up with some sort of believable cover story like: I was forced to leave the states against my will be my wife and I'm miserable here... instead of 'America sucks and I'm glad to see it fail.'
