You could work with the sugar gliders and do some groovy stuff I bet.

Sugar gliders do not like to sit in chairs. They prefer the highest point in the room, especially if that is the 1/2" thick moulding over the door to the next room. If that is not available, a tall floor lamp or bookshelf will do. If neither of those are available, the top of your head will do.

Isn't there a scene like this in the excellent film starring Christian Slater called "Pump Up The Volume"? I believe the lizard is shown reclining to the tunes of Leonard Cohen.
