David Lynch Does Gucci Commercial : "Blondie was singing "Heart of Glass" as the model, fingers twitching, sashayed toward a bottle of fragrance, stroking and clutching it as if it were a lover and an art object combined. 'Cut!'"

I'd love to see that ad. It's a shame Lynch almost never does commercial spots that air in the U.S.

hm. Sounds pretty tame, and... dare I say? Hackneyed? Perfume bottle as art/sexual object?

Who knows, though. Maybe it's great. I wonder if Dabitch has seen it?

David Lynch + hackneyed can be fun. "Twin Peaks" was a soap opera at heart, after all.

Lynch also did some European PlayStation commercials. A few of them, at least, are on YouTube.

Yeah, BP, my line of thought was Lynch seems to have this rather novel, passive-aggressive approach to pop topics.
