Venture Brothers is probably the funniest thing on TV. My favorite this Twenty Years to Midnight. Stephen Colbert as Mr. Fantastic, er, Incredible is perfect and the alien constantly yelling "Pay No Attention To Me!" is a wonderful take on The Watcher.

One of my favorite Monarch quotes (and one that is frequently used in conversation with my brother - for whatever reason this was one of those quotes we both found hilarious when the episode originally aired): "It was like losing my parents all over again...only quieter."

i'd never seen Doc and Jackson before, and this sent me on a crazy web fueled spiral of fact hunting fury.
Now i need to hear all the dvd extras, dammit. i am so glad i can't see them there and they can't see me wince and cackle at their commentary.
