Building the ultimate cooking machine. (from MeFi Projects). I'm awestruck that anyone human is actually capable of making something like this.
Man, I seriously need to learn how to weld. I think that will be a good skill to have in a post-apocolyptic Mad Max world. When the shit goes down, I don't think computer nerds will be in high demand.

I think I may have to do this - I fell in love with one of these at a home show recently but, for the cost, we could replace one of our cars. I finally bought my first welder of my very own a few months ago and have been re-learning my 30 year-old welding skills.

I'm surprised that he was surprised by the problems with warping due to heat when welding sheet steel, because that is one of the first things he should have been taught if he was doing any study in welding - when you heat shit up, it expands LOTS.
