Daily e-mails What daily e-mail services do you subscribe to?
I mainly delete the ones from Tech Republic (a leftover from my predecessor)

I just unsubscribed to the entire batch over the weekend.

None, I use Google reader. I hate inbox clutter.

Less now.
Google reader now provides me that daily fix. If you've not got a google reader account or an rss reader, I reccomend you get one.

Other than that, I subscribe to ...
- netfuture
- popbitch
- World Wide Words.
- Harpers Weekly.
- NYTimes Circuits.

I read some daily RSS feeds, and I belong to a few very active listservs. Nothing that's strictly speaking a daily email, though.

I don't want to actually get any daily e-mails. In fact, I'm working on spending a lot less time online and a lot more time with people, books, and the outside world. I'm just interested in the variety that is out there and what others are interested in.

Harpers Weekly is great.

For financial news, I recommend the NY Times' Dealbook daily emails. They link to NYT and other sources. This has replaced the WSJ for my daily market overview.

Yeah, Google Reader is my new drug. I honestly don't know how I used the internet before this.

I signed up for Marketplace Midday Update email and still get those everyday, but they suck and I delete them automatically now.

I get the Issa Haiku of the day and I really like it - eventually, eventually I'm going to do an art project based on Issa. Someday. Apparently when I'm about 105.

None. I do like Netvibes though.

CNN (shut up)
Canada.com (Canadian oriented news, natch)
Calvin & Hobbes
Dilbert (shut up, he's still funny once in a while)

I used to get tons more, but I've pared it down to those four.

The only thing I subscribe to are online table of contents for various scientific journals. And a service that twice-weekly does a keyword search (mine? estrogen, estradiol, fatty acids, insulin, insulin-like growth factor) on NIH databases for recently published papers.

Yeah, that's not helpful.

I forgot one: my local Freecycle.
