I've had a crush on Kurt Russell since I was a kid and saw him in a western with Tim Matheson called "The Quest". A friend of mine met him 3 or 4 years ago and said that in real life he's handsome beyond belief, with a magnetism that doesn't come across as much on screen as it does in the flesh.
Also the blogger neglects to mention that he played pro baseball but had to give it up because of a rotator cuff injury.
So, yes, Russell for me every time, despite the NRA and Ted Nugent affiliations.
Dude, I never thought of this question, not once in my life. But I must admit this blog covers the territory pretty well. And I have to say ... Swayze. Ih. Really?
Christian Bale is the most gorgeous man on earth. And I have been saying that since I was that dorky kid who thought "Newsies" was a good movie. Alas!
chuckdarwin, no, I haven't had a chance yet, but I'm hoping to see it this week. I was kind of hoping you would go see it yesterday so I could read your review ;P
I guess I'm out of it because when friends of mine started talking about Christian-Bale-this and Christian-Bale-that a while back I was like "Who?" They took pity on me and muttered, "Batman Begins? Anyway..."
I thought he sucked in that film, and that the rest of the film sucked also, and I have yet to see him in another, so I have continued with the "Who?" saying.
Physically he's not a good Batman. His facial structure isn't right for the mask. And I didn't like the way he lowered his voice an octave to make Batman sound badass.
But that doesn't negate the fact that he's going to have my babies.
Ever notice that Swayze, ex-ballet dancer should-be-graceful dude, walks like he has a broomstick stuck up his ass. WTF? Old injury? Still, he's done some VERY cool roles lately, like the pediophile perv in Donnie Darko.

Bale and Keaton both. Batman needs a lantern jaw. He also enough muscle that he doesn't need to wear muscle-shaped "body armor" to compensate for his physique. Christopher Reeve didn't wear padding for the Supeman movies, he just got waaay into shape.
