Yeah, I grew up with him. His elder brother Scott and I went to music school together, played in bands together, taught at the same lesson studio, etc. Paul was a great guy, and I remember him fondly.

I'm not saying this because he's dead, or because he was on board Flight 77... he genuinely one of the most likeable people I've ever known. Smart, funny, modest, talented... The Real Deal. At 32, he was poised be one of the most important physicians in America.

Then some zealots murdered him.

Wow, quite an accomplished guy at such a young age.

He was, and he wasn't precious about it at all. Just laser-focused, hardworking and very motivated.

We both hailed from the fattest place on Earth (at the time, I think it's Texas now) and he was going to try and do something about it.

It's a shame, really, because he had a good idea... and a vision that is now missing.

He certainly sounds like someone who was taken too soon. I'm sorry that you've lost such a friend chuckdarwin.

I'm sorry that you've lost your friend, but kept his memory alive.

Tragic though it is, I always come back and look for the last photos of Bill Biggart, who died doing what he loved.

Wow. plinth, that guy was a really exceptional photographer.
