For "loud, cathartic noises made by ugly, sweaty people" look no further than Portland's Poison Idea - Lifestyles, Punish Me. Saw these guys live twice (yep, with Pig Champion) for the 'War All The Time' and 'Blank Blackout Vacant' tours. Blew the fuckin roof off. Biggest band in the world. Jerry A blew fire to put KISS to shame - burnt the roof of the venue.
