The Springsteen tickets were part of a spate of 1 year wedding aniversary presents me and Pips have been giving eachother (and all of you who were at the nuptuals, rest assured, I will remember you till my dying day). We're also going to have a dinner here and we bought a DVD of season one of Barney Miller. I had forgotten how funny that show was. Also, I think it says something that the character I realte to most is Fish. Pips is more like Yomana, with her Zen-like wisdom and humor. That is all.

Happy Anniversary jonmc and pips, or has it long passed? Congrats on the Springsteen tickets. I read your the Springsteen thread this morning at work, but was unable to chime in.

That restaurant looks great. I'm also curious about gaspode's review of Daniel. That place looked fabulous. I don't think they would let me through the front door.

Wow, that year went quickly! Congrats, you two crazy kids.

Lori: Daniel was in every way absolutely superb. Amazing food, amazing service, amazing decor. All of that. They brought out a whole table of extra desserts for my birthday :) I will be raving about it for a long time. By far the best meal I've ever had, but of course by far the most expensive...

Acciording to the Divine Wino, the place is dumpy, the waiters are pushy...and it's the best steak in the world.

Yeah, Lugers is awesome. mr. gaspode tends to demand it on birthdays. I've never had the rude waiter experience though - they were always really nice. Don't ruin the steak with the sauce they give you.

I was just talking about wanting to see Barney Miller again, I've fairly fond memories of it, don't think I want to shell out to buy the DVDs, but perhaps the library carries them, that's be sweet, have to check when we get back from vacation.

I LOVED Fish!

I loved Barney Miller. It made the high school years somewhat bearable.
