"Hans Richter created the film Ghosts before Breakfast, also known as Vormittagspuk, in 1927. This was a silent experimental avant-garde film and it was the fifth film that he had made. The film itself is considered to be one of the first surrealistic films ever made." [from here]

The beginning of the posted version notes that all copies with the original soundtrack were destroyed by the Nazis as "degenerate art".

They also mixed Anemic Cinema by Marcel Duchamp, Ballet mécanique by Fernand Leger, and several other films. Vormittagspuk moved me the most, though.
