Okay, this has gotten out of hand. Now even the Wall Street Journal is writing about LOLCATS.
can't you just see them, the editors of that cheerfully fascist newspaper, now worried about their jobs if they don't make the journal, like, "hip". because ejaculating over every single layoff in America is simply not enough for the WSJ now, not anymore.
what's easier than dragging around the corpse of an Internet fad that, frankly, my (quite hip, mind you) soon-to-be-69-years-old mom already finds, and I quote, "tired"?
and the WSJ analysis of the finer points of nonsensical text pasted onto walrus photos is, well, let's just say I really hope this page is a fake from The Onion and they faked the online.wsj.com URL
The day before that article appeared, there was a boneheaded one about leetspeak. As if it were a slow news period and a couple reporters were told, "Go search around the Internet and see what you can find."
