Lunar Eclipse I should be in bed right now, but like the dolt that I am I'm watching the dragon eat the moon. He's about halfway through at present.

I just caught the tail end of it, and I'm a little disappointed it wasn't blood-red.

I went out this morning, but there was too much sunlight and too many clouds for me to see anything in DC.

Wow, I was totally wiped out last night and missed this entirely, but I did see the moonrise which was visible from the pool (there are big windows that face moonwards) which was pretty impressive in and of itself.

I woke up at 4am to catch it and i must say i was totally underwhelmed! I think it's because i caught the total eclipse of the sun last year and that totally blew my mind! After about two minutes this morning i gave up and went back to bed!

I didn't know it was happening, but when the mister left for work this morning (5 a.m. PDT), he called me out to see it. Very cool!
