Good synonym for well-rounded? I need a quick way to say "I got [a wide variety of] skillz" in a resume title. (The skillz themselves are, of course, enumerated within the resume.)
versatile.

plump.

I'd hire anybody who put "I got plump skillz!" on their cover letter, but maybe that's why I've never been in a position to hire somebody.

alternate phrases

"A cosmopolitan skill set"
"Diversified talents/abilities"

i'm digging plump.

Not for a resume per se but the word needs a comeback. It's a good word, got good mouth feel and a certain aplomb.

plump.

I agree with lonefrontranger, but diverse is also good.

If you end up down in the City for interviews or whatnot, send up a flare. Chicago mefis are a friendly bunch and usually up for something.

Diverse is good, a "hot" word.

Panoply. A panoply of skillz.

thanks, crush. I could use some social interaction, being way out in the sticks and all.

oh, and "diverse" won. thanks guys!

"I have a skill set of extraordinary depth and breadth." Then back that up with examples.

Curvaceous skills. That would be appealing to me if I were an employer.

catholic skillz.

(I like the mental image of having the eagle-eyed ruler-wielding disciplinary skillz of a schoolteacher nun, even though I know it's "small-c").

I'd go "diversified" more than "diverse" but I have the bad habit of using 4 syllables when only 2 will do.

Plus Sized Skill Set?

A Renaissance [put job title here].

But seriously, Multi-Dimensional, because you don't need to e in the Twilight Zone to understand at least six of them.

And whatever happened to "everything but the kitchen sink"?

It'd be kind of funny/ironic to put plump, because I'm 95 lbs (at 5'0").
posted by desjardins 22 August | 13:47
wendell: you sound like the sort of person who would use "utilize" instead of "use". That makes me twitchy.
